About Us
We are a group of Christians who enjoy God’s creation through bushwalking and the pursuit of outdoor activities. We come from diverse backgrounds and many different churches, but are linked by our love of Christ and a desire to fellowship with other Christians. We are an ecumenical organisation which welcomes non Christians and Christians from all denominations.
A quarterly activity program is issued to members by email or post.
Sydney Christian Bushwalkers is an incorporated association, affiliated with Bushwalking NSW. The organising committee is elected annually at the Annual General Meeting and meets approximately every two months.
Our goals
- Provide opportunities for people of all ages to participate in bushwalking and other outdoor activities
- Promote fellowship amongst Christian bushwalkers
- Promote friendship with all bushwalkers
